Disney fans were treated to a stunning first look at the new musical live action movie at Disney’s D23 fan celebration on Saturday (August 15). The “Harry Potter” star made her official debut as the bookish Disney Princess when the studio debuted the first look at the film in their official sizzle reel.

We watched as Belle waltzes onto the screen in her iconic yellow gown, down the staircase and into the Beast’s heart. Of course, this isn’t Watson’s first time making a grand entrance. Remember this in Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire? She was STUNNINGLY BREATHTAKING.

Emma WatsonAnd one fan of the star has left us more excited than ever by creating a mock-up of what the Harry Potter actress might look like in her most anticipated Disney role.

Wearing Belle’s iconic yellow ball gown with her brunette locks, Emma looked every bit the princess in the exciting snap.

Directed by Bill Condon and written by Stephen Chbosky (“The Perks of Being a Wallflower”), “Beauty and the Beast” brings the classic fairy tale to life with new music from Disney favorites Alan Menken and Sir Tim Rice.

Watson will be joined by Dan Stevens as Beast, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere the candlestick, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth the clock, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, among the rest of the amazingly star-studded cast, which includes a delightful new character named Cadenza the grand piano, voiced by Stanley Tucci.

“Beauty and the Beast” will officially hit theaters in 3D on March 17th, 2017.
