TV ACCOLADES

WEEKEND May 19, 2013

Well folks, we all had such complicated times on TV in the past week. Two of the greatest things we can never forget are after running for 9 years, #THEOFFICE finally said goodbye on a HIGH note … And then after nearly 9 years running, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER finally revealed THE MOTHER on Monday’s Season 8 finale. We’ll see how the story ends when the show returns for its FINAL SEASON in the fall.

Back a day before, we got to see how #MadMen writers were trying too hard to do the #50ShadesOfGrey impression on the show, though Jon Hamm did a wonderful job. And I’ve gotta mention this, #REVENGE was pretty impressive in season 1 but somehow most of episodes in the sophomore season were a little bit out of line. But thank God the writers didn’t screw the whole season up because the 2 hours finale was pretty damn good!

Days after that, we had to see more finales of some fave shows that blew our minds. I’m not talking about #IDOL … Obviously, no one in America really cares about that one anymore. I’m talking about #SCANDAL!!! After a pretty impressive season 1 last year, the show’s back on such a high note, attracting viewers, critics and making all the buzz not only in America, and it ended the season with an exploding twist in a perfect way a thriller political drama could possibly make. I’ve always been a HUGE fan of #HOMELAND but I’ve gotta say this, forget a moment all those classy cable drama … #SCANDAL really took my TOP PRIZE this season.

Don’t forget to mention that even after nearly 10 years, #GREYSANATOMY is still on the move. Ending its season also on such a high note in a very great way of directing and writing, not to mention the music, the song and the score … you know what they say, so I don’t need to elaborate it here, especially “ALL OF ME” – a soon to be released song by JOHN LEGEND, featured in the finale last Thursday, really beautiful.

Speaking of song and TV OST, One of the best shows that could blow our minds with the power of music is The Vampire Diaries. #TVD did a pretty impressive finale and it gives us a promising interesting plot at the very end of the episode. The freshman superhero drama #ARROW also did a pretty impressive finale as well.
