UPFRONTS 2012: ‘Revenge’ Moves To Sundays, Tim Allen And Reba McEntire’s Mini-TGIF Revival And More

Just call Wednesday night hero night on The CW’s 2012-2013 schedule. The network has moved Friday night player “Supernatural” to Wednesdays and is pairing it with the new DC Comics series “Arrow.”

Meanwhile, Tyra Banks’ “America’s Next Top Model” moves to Friday nights paired with “Nikita.”

Upfronts: Fox’s 2012-13 Fall Schedule [Glee Moves to Thursday, Touch to Friday and Comedy Block on Tuesday]

New medical drama “First Cut” joins “Hart of Dixie” on Tuesdays and the vampires of Mystic Falls will meet the beast on Thursdays with the programming block of “The Vampire Diaries” and “Beauty and the Beast.”

“The Carrie Diaries,” the “Sex and the City” prequel and one of The CW’s highest profile projects, doesn’t make its CW debut until midseason. When it does, Carrie Bradshaw will take over the “Gossip Girl” timeslot. The CW’s other new scripted series, “Cult,” is also being held for midseason.

“For personal thoughts I think The CW put some of its hits in a vulnerable schedule because they’ll face so many competitive shows on other networks. For example I thought The CW realized that TVD wasn’t supposed to be on Thursday night because the show is still popular but other shows on other networks are more popular and they air at the same time and that will make TVD’s rating will be worse than it was in season 3.”
