WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!!! [Sunday Night’s 11/25, Homeland, Dexter, and The Walking Dead]

Another Sunday Night has wrapped up! Here we are again talking about our editor’s picks of last night’s cable shows: Homeland and Dexter on SHOWTIME, The Walking Dead on AMC. What happened in those hit shows? Let’s find out:

#TVRecaps: Sexy Intense #HOMELAND, Smarter #DEXTER, Creepy #WalkingDead!

HOMELAND “Two Hats” Recap: Who The Hell is Peter Quinn?

EDITOR’S RATING: 9.3 Out of 10

Well folks, we finally learn what Abu Nazir plans to attack the American Soil—and boy, is it ominously poetic!? Considering 300 plus lives are at risk that’s no reason to celebrate. So will Carrie (Claire Danes) be able to stop it? Or is Brody (Damian Lewis) playing her yet again?

Brody is MIA: Everyone is worried Brody is dead, either operationally or physically before he resurfaces. Finally he calls Carrie and comes in. During the debriefing Brody reveals Abu Nazir (Navid Negahban) tortured him again and we get flashbacks of Brody and Nazir’s conversation. Anyone else think for the first time it really does seem like Brody hates Nazir?

#AmericanHorrorStory “Dark Cousin” Recap and Exclusive Hint About the SEASON 3!

#GLEE “Thanksgiving” Recap: Sweet Reunion, Lovely Thanksgiving, Twisted Sectionals!

Brody explains his outburst with Roya Hammad (Zuleikha Robinson) happened because he underestimated the love he has for his family and Nazir seems to buy it. Nazir explains his family has nothing to fear as long as Brody “stays true to himself” which is a pretty clear theat. Brody has his family moved to a CIA safe house with Mike (Diego Klattenhoff). During their hideout Mike and Jessica (Morena Baccarin) sleep together.

The Plan: Brody reveals what Abu Nazir plans to attack. Brody and Vice President Walden are scheduled to greet special operations group returning from Afghanistan. Over 300 soldiers will be reunited with their families and Nazir plans to bomb their homecoming. Nazir needs Brody to convince Walden to allow one reporter at the event: Roya Hammad. So is Brody telling the truth with this latest intel? Carrie says yes and thinks they have to play this alleged threat out.

A Few Down, One to Go: Everything seems to run relatively smoothly to thwart Nazir’s attack. They move in on Roya and her news truck, which was being filled with explosives. Only problem? Nazir is not with the group Carrie and her team take down. The event at the military base is still going on as scheduled and there is a very wanted terrorist on the loose.

#GreysAnatomy “I Was Made For Lovin’ You” Recap: Someone is Having Another Baby!

So Who is Peter Quinn?: Saul and Carrie had Peter (Rupert Friend) checked out and some flags are raised at his apartment. You can tell Peter is ready to leave at a moment’s notice and he only has one personal item: a picture of a Philadelphia police officer (she turns out to be his baby mama). Saul pays her a visit, but she doesn’t talk.

They discover Peter’s not an analyst—so what’s he doing on this operation? “He’s here to kill terrorists Saul,” Estes responds after sending Peter into the field with “two hats.” Peter goes to pick up Brody where his orders are to kill our favorite congressman. But he gets a call from Estes to stand down at the last minute. Since they don’t have Nazir, they need to keep Brody alive.

DEXTER “Helter Skelter” Recap: Dexter Vs Isaak Finally Ends for Good!

EDITOR’S RATING: 8.8 Out of 10

Last night’s action-oriented episode of “Dexter” was more reminiscent of “The Usual Suspects” — including a harbor shootout — than the carefully planned kills we’ve come to expect from our favorite serial killer (Michael C. Hall) and his new sidekick. Even Hannah McKay (Yvonne Strahovski) joined the fray. But while his girlfriend survived her ordeal, he lost his new frenemy, Isaak (Ray Stevenson) — who, ironically, taught his nemesis a little bit about living.

Sink or Swim: Dexter takes Hannah out on his boat (there were a lot of scenes involving watercraft last night), and it’s the first time we’ve seen the femme fatale thrown off-balance. It’s also the first time Dexter has taken one of his victims for a ride on the Slice of Life without tossing their body overboard, usually in many different pieces. This time, it’s the water that’s choppy, but Hannah is less seasick than terrified. As she admits to Dexter, her father’s idea of swimming lessons was to toss his child in the water and watch her drown. The couple’s fathers sure had unique ideas about parenting.

#TVD “My Brother’s Keeper” Recap: BIG SHOCKER From the Sexiest #Delena Episode!

The Enemy of My Enemy: Dexter and Isaak take their bromance to the next level when the mobster asks Dexter for help in taking out the hitmen whom his former henchman, George, has hired to kill him. So why would Dexter agree? Isaak has violated the bro code and kidnapped Hannah, with Jurg threatening to kill her if Dexter doesn’t comply. But first he must ask his sister to pull the police tail off Isaak.

Dysfunctional Family: Dexter assures Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) that her feelings for him are “logical” — “the way I love M&Ms even though I know I shouldn’t.” Not the most comforting metaphor, but Dex does seem to ease his sister’s embarrassment after confessing her romantic feelings for him. Deb finally agrees to call off Isaak’s 24/7 tail, but warns her brother that he’ll “never be safe” with Hannah. (Considering Deb’s track record, he’s definitely safer dating Hannah than his — gag — sister. And maybe it’s time Deb checked out Match.com. lol)

Ironically, it’s Deb who saves Hannah while Dex is bromancing Isaak. For some reason, Hannah’s otherwise-vigilant captor lets down his guard, and they scuffle. He ends up dead but not before stabbing her. Deb finds her just in time; when Hannah asks why she saved her, Deb snaps, “Maybe you can be fine being responsible for someone’s death, but that’s not who I am.” Lieutenant Morgan also insists she’s going to focus on herself rather than protecting her brother.

Sink or Swim, Part 2: Unfortunately (for us, because Ray Stevenson is so gorgeous), Dex isn’t able to protect Isaak from George, who fatally shoots him after Dex and Isaak take out his hired henchmen. Dexter grants Isaak’s last wish — to share his lover Viktor’s watery grave — and vows vengeance against George. Actually, two Miami Metro men are gunning for Georgie-boy. Quinn is livid that Isaak’s heir apparent slept with Nadia, and fought back with his fists. Will Dexter kill George in time to save Quinn’s career and Nadia’s life?

Uneasy Alliance: Dexter really should be worrying about saving himself. LaGuerta visits former chief Tom Matthews, now enjoying an early retirement thanks to the new captain, and asks for his help in reexamining the Bay Harbor Butcher case. He bristles at first, but eventually agrees — but only if she can return the favor by reinstating his pension. It’s only a matter of time before they have Dexter in their cross-hairs, right?

THE WALKING DEAD: The Gov. Gets Nasty, Michonne Leads the Rescuing Mission to Woodburry!

EDITOR’S RATING: 9.1 Out of 10

STAND UP Folks! We witnessed a bit of a switch up last week on The Walking Dead, with Glenn and Maggie getting dragged to Woodbury and Michonne arriving—in high post-apocalyptic style—at the prison. Will new alliances form—that is, if the kids can manage to survive Woodbury’s brutal hospitality? Let’s find out.

Merle is Still Blamey Over That Whole Handcuffing Incident: Bygones? With Merle? No way! Daryl’s vengeful brother is hell-bent on finding out where he is, torturing Glenn (Steven Yeun) until his face looks like Georgia barbecue. Then Merle (Michael Rooker) unleashes a hungry zombie on Glenn, who, despite being tied in a chair, dispatches the undead in an impressive display of improvisation. Maggie, meanwhile, is forced to strip in front of the Gov, who toys with the idea of raping her before deciding to smack her around instead. After watching Gov put a gun to her boyfriend’s head, Maggie gives up the location.

Michonne Can Speak in Full Sentences: Rick (Andrew Lincoln) lets Michonne (Danai Gurira) twist in the wind a little long if you ask us—and you kinda did—before dragging the injured loner into his prison camp. But drag her he does, demanding information in a way you absolutely do not use if you want anything from Michonne. Still, she spills on the Gov, his “Jim Jones” style of governing, and the fact that Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Glenn are now at Woodbury.

The Baby’s Name Is Judith: After Carl’s fave teacher. So, there’s that.

Milton Is a Zombie Virgin: He’s never seen a dead person turn before, but that changes with this episode. In a pre-planned experiment, a cancer victim dies while Milton (Dallas Roberts) and Andrea (Laurie Holden) watch. Milton hopes to prove that zombies retain some memories of their former selves, but it’s hopeless.

It’s a March on Woodbury: A group including Daryl, Beth, Rick, Michonne and the two felons head out to rescue the two missing kids, flash-bangs in tow. Walkers chase the group into an abandoned house before they can get too far, and they discover a human survivor in the process. He’s loud and rowdy, so Michonne offs him and the group chucks him to the zombies so they can escape. Then, for real this time, it’s a march on Woodbury, y’all! Told ya! 😉

ALERT: Homeland, Dexter and The Walking Dead will return next week! And FYI next week is #TWD mid-season finale, and the show returns on 2013!

That’s all folks! Which one is your fave? Which one did you like the most from last night’s race? Any ideas about what will happen in those shows? Hit the comments below to let us know! 😉
